Consultations
Before the Initial ConsultationA health questionnaire which includes a 2-3 day food diary should be completed. Ideally this would be returned to the nutritional therapist, before the initial consultation, or brought with you fully completed on the day of your consultation. The questionnaire can be printed off by clicking on the icon in the top right-hand corner of this page. Alternatively one can be posted out to you.
The Initial Consultation
The initial consultation lasts between 70-90 mins. This allows for thorough
questioning of lifestyle, dietary habits and health concerns and an explanation of possible underlying causes of health symptoms. An agreed 'Health Improvement Plan'( a 4 week dietary programme) will be drawn up with plenty of meal ideas and useful handouts for you to take away. An additional supplement programme may also be advised. Sometimes biochemical testing, via approved testing laboratories, may be recommended in order to gain more specific information. If you are seeing your GP regarding an existing medical problem it is usually good practise to inform your GP of your programme.

Follow-Up Consultation
Follow-Up consultations last between 45-60 mins. They usually take place 4 weeks after the initial consultation to allow enough time to assess progress. This consultation allows the client to give feedback from their 4 week programme and to discuss both successes and setbacks. It allows the consultant to make adjustments to the existing programme or to design a new programme to address a different health complaint.
Usual Follow-Up Consultation Fee: £45
3 Month Consultation Package
A 3 month consultation package consists of one initial consultation and two follow-up consultations. Three consultations are recommended to allow enough time for your individually designed nutrition programme to make a profound impact on health symptoms. To reward your commitment to a three month health programme, a special discount is given if booked and paid in advance.
